Tivoli Circle Lawsuit
In 2021, the AIFEDSE sued the City of New Orleans to declare Tivoli Circle as a legal name and install install street signs. In March 2022, the city admitted in court we were right and then changed the name of the park to Harmony Park and retained the name Tivoli Circle for the street, which it had been since 1810.
In 2022, Council Members Moreno and Harris made a motion to change the name of Tivoli Circle to Harmony Circle.
They pledged to erect street signs for Tivoli Circle Street but failed to do so.
